Keep the first visit simple.
Choose comfortable clothes your dancer can move in, bring water, and keep hair away from the face. Check the studio’s exact footwear requirements before buying new shoes.
Make arrival feel familiar.
Before class, confirm the date, time, entrance, and arrival instructions with the studio. A trial request is not a confirmed place until the team says so.
Let curiosity lead.
Some children jump right in; others need time to watch and settle. Tell the instructor anything that would help them support your dancer, using the studio’s private communication channel.
Ask what comes next.
After the first class, ask about the right age group, schedule, and enrollment process. There’s no need to know everything on day one.
